I just saw Kirk Cameron's movie, Fireproof, last night. This guy is the "real deal." The movie packed a powerful cinematic and emotional punch to deliver an urgent and relevant message. I won't give it all away, but let's just say that the key to our relational problems lies not in techniques or counseling, per se, but in realizing what LOVE really is (not self-love, nor sentimentalism), and letting that truth transform us.
BTW - If you haven't seen this movie yet, please do. It'll be the best $10 you've spent on a movie in a long time. And take a friend or two.
Go Kirk!!! You rock!
